I am currently living in St. Augustine Beach and working at a local hospital as the Director Of Quality Management, overseeing organizational improvement and peer review. My life dramatically changed after our Class of '71 Reunion. How? Well, I met my future husband - Tom Kent ('71) - yes, that's right!
We teamed up when the reunion came to a close and a group of us went over to T'Birds at the Landing. How shall I say, our eyes met across a crowded room and, well the rest is history. We had a fairy tale wedding (castle and all) and have been indulging each other ever since.

In the last twenty years, or so, I have had the privilege of working for six Fortune 500 companies, and one large European company as a contract Electrical/Instrumentation Designer. By being a contract employee it has allowed me to receive a higher compensation, work all over the country (Austin, Seattle, Houston-Clear Lake, New Orleans, St. Louis to name a few) and work when I want to.
In 1991, at the class reunion, which was a good time, I met my future wife. Really! We dated for about 6 1/2 years and while she was visiting me in Austin, TX, I popped the question. We were married on 11/21/98 at the Castle Otttis, Vilano Beach with some OPHS alumni attending. I believe that I am one of the luckiest 1971 alumni, because not only did I find happiness, I also married our class Valedictorian, Melanie Miles.
