I own my own business, Alemanda Artworks. I design and build custom stained and leaded glass doors, entry ways, windows, transoms, etc. I also do repair and restoration work on leaded and stained glass. I teach stained glass classes at the cultural center in Ponte Vedra. I have 2 incredible children, a 12 year old son named Alex and Amanda Kate, my 10 year old daughter, hence by business name, "Alemanda". My interests include biking with my kids, art with my kids, horseback riding, walking and tennis.

Currently I am working as the Chief Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in Miami, FL. This hospital has 1700 beds, one of the largest, if not the largest, teaching hospitals in the country. In case you do not know, a CRNA is a graduate level trained nurse in the specialty area of anesthesia. I put people to sleep and more importantly I wake them up. As some people crudely say, I am a gas passer. I have lived in Tallahassee, Chicago and now Miami. I am not married. I almost took the plunge several times, but for one reason or another, I never made the plunge. I am currently in a long term relationship. In my spare time, I travel and or do quite a bit of boating activities since I am so close to the water.
