I received my Ph.D. from the University of Florida from the Dept. of Wildlife Conservation and Ecology in 1998. I study freshwater and land snails of the Americas. I have worked in Costa Rica and Mexico and lived on the Navajo Nation as a school teacher. I am a biology instructor at Bainbridge College in Bainbridge, GA. I live on a small farm with lots of oak trees. My family includes 2 Great Pyrenees, 2 maremma sheepdogs, 2 Pembroke Welsh Corgis, 1 Dachshund, 1 Golden mix, 3 cats, 3 chickens, 2 peafowl, 2 parrots and 2 pot bellied pigs. I am fostering dogs for Tallahassee Big Dog Rescue and Pyrangel Rescue. I specialize in the rescue and rehabilitation of Big White Dogs (BWDs) nationally. I am a transporter for pet rescue nets like Hero's Waggin Train, Underground Railroad and the Saint Shuttle.

Married to a wonderful wife (Charlotte) with 2 children, Mary Elizabeth (6) and John Graves (4). We currently reside in Fort Lauderdale where I work for the Florida Department of Transportaton, Florida's Turnpike. I currently am the maintenance engineer for the Turnpike, responsible for all Road and Bridge maintenance for the Turnpike system statewide. I have been with the DOT for 12 years. I graduated from the University of Central Florida (BSCE) and the University of North Florida (MBA). I have returned to South Florida in 2000 after 22 years away (I moved to Orange Park in 1978 from Miami). Look forward to renewing old acquaintances at the reunion in August.

I earned my BBA in Finance from Delta State University and my MBA in Aerospace Technology from Embry Riddle University. My wife, Janine, and I have 3 kids: Meghan (10), Connor (9), and Kyle (3) and we are stationed at Hurlburt Field, FL (Ft. Walton Beach). I'm a Major in the United States Air Force and am an Evaluator Navigator in Special Operations Command. 12 of my 15 years has been overseas in the Orient and Europe.

I am a mom of a beautiful 17 year old daughter who will be graduating next year with the class of 2002. I have a son who is 3 years old and a wonderful husband. I am a pricing manager for Winn-Dixie. I have been there 10 years. I love to travel and hang out at the beach....and lots of other activities. My friends and family are very important to me....especially old friends!! Registered Nurse for the past 10 years, working in critical care and surgery. I recently returned to college and am working on a Masters Degree in Anesthesia. It's hard to believe that it has been over 20 years since graduation from OPHS! I spend all of my time studying mostly, but also travel on medical missions and hang out at the beach.
