Hi all! I have continued on with my love of art, and now am a graphic designer, illustrator and interactive artist for Concurrent Technologies. I also am the "long-distance" artist freelancing occasionally for Duarte Design out in CA. I received my BFA from UNF, worked and freelanced on a small scale for a while, then hired into Logistic Services in 1996 and became a "military-oriented" artist. I developed the 2D, 3D and animated artwork that is used for pilot training in the Navy. No virtual reality, but I did have to get a Secret Security Clearance to do some of the contracts! Now I do the graphic design and PR/promotional work the the Navy Environmental Leadership Program.
Mr. Walters would be proud of me: you need to know Geometry backward and forwards in order to learn and effectively use the high-end 3D graphics software packages. Even the basic tutorial is two volumes large, several thousand pages, and reads like a math thesus.
