The War in Iraq and other obstacles filled our 2003 calendar, but that did not stop the many inquiries and interest for a band reunion.
We are commited to do a 70's Band/Choral Reunion for the summer of 2004! Mark your calendars now!

Guy "Oz" Barron '76 has put together a snazzy bit of technology so we can keep you informed with future updates. We truly do need you to pre-register as soon as possible for planning purposes.
Please send us a note if you have any special physical requirements or needs that we can provide to help this be a great time for you. Our goal is to keep this as affordable as possible for everyone. WITHOUT YOU, THE REUNION CANNOT BE A SUCCESS!
You will certainly want to check the website out monthly to see the names of those that have pre-registered to attend the reunion.
Also, please send us any photos from our High School Band/Choral days and we will try to post them. (I have a cool one of JK and Oz with a covey of chicks. I will send it to Oz to post when I go through photos.)
We want the reunion to be memorable. It is not going to be fun if your friends are not there, so we need your help contacting alumni.
What do we need? We need people willing to be a Point of Contact for their grad year. The POC will be responsible for networking and locating people from the Band (marching & symphonic) and Choral Majorettes, Raiderettes and Flag Corps. Yes, anyone that marched, twirled and chortled needs to help locate former band/choral mates. As your Band Reunion Committee, we are focused on contacting the Mid-70's Band/Choral members. We truly do not want to leave anyone out. The 70's grad years can only be expanded with many hands and mouths passing the word and a POC for that year. Many fulfilling, amazing old friendships have blossomed this past year locating people. We can personally assure that if you decide to be the designated POC for your year groupl, you will have a ball!

On the weekend of this August 2 & 3, 2003, Debbie Bearden Showalter '75 and Sheri Ergle Chase '77 are traveling to Orange Park to plan & strategize for OPHS 70's Band Reunion 2004.
