Graduated OPHS 1964. Returned 1970 as teacher, coach. Served as Principal from 1977 to 1989. Now retired after 30 years in Clay County Schools. Enjoying the mountains - still getting used to retirement. Many pleasant memories of OPHS - the BEST years of my career.

As of May 25, 2005, retired from teaching at OPHS. Will now probably try Home Depot, Lowe's, Publix, SOMETHING else, as retirement benefits will not provide clothes for my teenage daughters! It was a heck of a run....those 37 years. I have that many years of memories to ponder now. Thank you, Orange Park for those incredible years.

Graduated OPHS 1972, BBA 1976, MEd. 1986 UNF. Senior Class Sponsor 1986, 87. Girl's Varsity Soccer Coach (83-91). Girl's Varsity Cross Country Coach 1989. Presently I am an Assistant Principal at Orange Park Junior High where I have been since 1993.

Oldest child graduated from OP in the Class of 1999 and our son graduated with the Class of 2001. We have a daughter who is 11. I am still very active at OPHS. We haven't missed a football game.

English 1997 - 98
I taught English for 1 year at OPHS. It was a wonderful experience. Some of the teachers that taught me were still there. While attending UNF (1981), I did a teaching internship at OPHS with Mr. MacDonald as my supervising teacher...it was a reunion of sorts..he taught me senior English and nicknamed me "trouble" & during my internship he continued to call me that! The students loved it...made for a wonderful internship! As for the rest of my teaching experience, I was at Wilkinson Jr. High in Middleburg.
