I had the priviledge of working with students for more than 44 years in Georgia and Florida. I was a counselor at OPHS for the last 24 plus years. At the present time, I am retired. My wife and I will soon celebrate fifty years of marriage. I am keeping very busy traveling between Orange Park and my original home in Alabama. I have been out of the teaching field since 1975. My husband retired from USN in 1977 and we have lived in the Columbia, SC area since that time. Work in HRS department of a trucking company, enjoy my work. Since we have a son stationed in Mayport, we get back to the area fairly often. The growth is amazing. Living in a retirement community, Fairway Village, in Largo, FL. We have a new home, and our park has a golf course, 2 heated swimming pools, and a giant clubhouse. I am helping to produce 3 Chorus productions per year, and I am helping to run the Fairway Computer Club. I also help people fix their computers and install programs. I spend a lot of time with my 2 oldest granchiildren, both 11 years old. We have 2 year passes to Busch Gardens, Adventure Island and Sea World, and we go often and have a great time. My husband is also retired. We have a boat and go out often on the Intracoastal Waterway north to Tarpon Springs or south to St. Petersburg. We also go skiing and kneeboarding on Lake Tarpon.

Retired after teaching 22 years in Holden, Missouri. My wife, Judy, is also retired, but is back teaching art 2 days a week. (In Missouri, you can do that and still draw retirement.) I am also continuing to work as a bus driver for Holden. I tried to be retired all summer---boring!
We live on 20 acres in the country. Spend time fishing, entertaining our animals (goats, dogs, and cats) and spoiling our grandson.
